The international Gaia-X project is a non-profit public-private initiative involving companies, technology centres, universities and other institutions from countries around the world. Its purpose is to develop the architecture, documentation and software needed to create a trusted infrastructure for building data spaces that contribute to the development of the data economy, integrating European values of security and privacy protection. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Gaia-X Spain Association was created in 2022 to coordinate the entire programme in Spain. The Government of Spain launched the hub\u2019s promoter group, made up of public entities \u2014 universities, public administrations and research centres \u2014 and private entities \u2014 large companies, SMEs and startups \u2014 with the aim of drafting the statutes and establishing the association, which was finally created in March 2022 and has since grown in number of participants. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
